Weekly Updates 5th Mar to 11th mar '07

Saturday –
11:00 am to 3:00 pm Service team Meeting to discuss about the Prayer Campaign, Mirror '07 (Reflect the Call) the Growth Retreat, Half Day program at the Holy Spirit Seminarians Ramanthapur, Outreach to Gandhi Hospital on March 17 th and the Night Vigil on March 24th.
3:30 pm Shibu's Farewell
3:00 pm to 4:30 am – Music Ministry practice along with the Professional Ministry for the CPG.
6:00pm to 8:00 pm - Family Visit to Preethi's house – We met Preethi's parents, grandparents, her aunt, cousins and her niece's. There was a wonderful time of Praise & Worship, Sr Bridget shared the Word of God, Vijay gave them the JY introduction and Annette shared her testimony.
10:30 pm - Prakash, Vijay Sundar & Vignan left to Vijaywada.

3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - CPG by the Professional ministry. There was Inner healing and then a wonderful presentation on Pro-life.

Announcements

1) Next weeks CPG Mar 18th will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We will have a small talk on confession followed by adoration and confession.

2) Mar 17th we have the Outreach to Gandhi Hospital at 3:30 pm.

3) Mar 24th we have the Night Vigil at Birds of the Air.

4)Annette has completed her one year commitment in Hyderabad and will be leaving from here on Mar 22nd

Weekly Update 26th Feb '07 to 4th Mar '07

Tuesday – Inner Mining (One Day Program) meeting to discuss the program details.

Thursday – Another Inner Mining (One Day Program) meeting to discuss the program details.

Saturday – Family Visit to Crescentia home. There was a wonderful time of "Praise and Worship". It was an excellent time where we met not just her family but her cousins, grandmother, aunties, friends etc.

Sunday –
Inner Mining from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm was a wonderful experience to all where everyone learnt about Personal prayer and bible study. There was a wonderful session on the Sacraments by Abhy. His experience on the Holy Eucharist and the testimony of "Catalina" on the Holy mass was the highlight. The Holy Spirit led him so beautifully and the way he presented the essence of the Holy Eucharist was not just a blessing to hear but will help everyone to participate in the celebration more meaningfully.

Jarald & Eabin were in Vijayawada for the Monthly JY Gathering in Vijayawada. They met all the JY there and a few priests too.

Vignan was in Kurnool for the "Mega Bible Convention in Kurnool" .

Weekly Updates Dated 19th Feb '07 to 25th Feb '07

Monday – Celebration time! the foundation stone in Jarald's house was laid (for the construction of his house). There was a wonderful time of Praise and Worship at Jarald's house. We also had delicious chicken biryani. All who missed it ask Jarald to invite you after Lent; it's too good and delicious to miss.

Thursday – Meeting for "Talitha Cum" (One Day Program for the Nurses) program details.

Friday – Prashanth (Teens Ministry Coordinator) and Prashanth (Arts Ministry Coordinator) left to Chennai to attend the South Indian Teens Leaders meeting.

Saturday – 10:30am to 3:00pm - Service team Meeting for Arising II, Talitha Cum (One Day Program for the Nurses Ministry) , CPG Inner Mining (One Day Program), Prayer Campaign and the Family Visits.

In the evening there was the Family visit to Roshini's house. There was a small time of Praise & Worship and personal sharing by Roshini and her mom. They also shared many problems that they faced in life but the most beautiful part was when they thanked God continuously as he gave them the strength and courage to go through it. I personally felt that it was not a family of two living there but of 3 people Roshini, Roshini's mom & Jesus.

Sunday – 9:30 am to 4:00 pm - Talitha Cum - One Day Program for the Nurses

3:00 – 5:00 pm – CPG (Testimony Week) – This weeks CPG was lead by the Outreach Ministry. Stephen came from Vijayawada and lead the Praise & Worship in Telugu & Hindi, each ministry then prayed for the different dioceses of Andhra Pradesh, we then had the 2006 JY Outreach Events Video presentation and Vignan shared his testimony. It was a totally different experience and we even sang hymns in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi & Tamil and for the first time we prayed for the entire geographic region of AP.
